The students in Mrs. Stewart’s class have been practicing their fluency, accuracy and expression by working in groups reading Reader’s Theater. They have been practicing for the last couple of weeks and were able to perform them in front of the class today. They did such a great job !
National School Breakfast Week coming March 2nd through 6th!
We are so excited to participate in National School Breakfast Week on March 2nd – March 6th! Parents, if you are receiving free and reduced lunch, you ALSO get free and reduced breakfast! When you use these services, it benefits our school.

We’ve helped thousands of families and children and we can help you. If you are concerned about your baby or toddler’s development or had a medical professional talk to you about some milestones your child hasn’t yet reached, you may be eligible for early intervention services.
Mrs. Dewsnup loves to garden, read, and go camping. She has been working at Spanish Oaks for 15 years. Her favorite drink is Diet Coke. She loves to hang out with her kids in her free time. She grew up in Mapleton, and her favorite school subject is reading. She has 9 grandchildren, she likes to travel, and go four wheeling and fishing with her husband.

Our 3rd graders have been learning about human body systems. On Friday students got into groups of three and made Banruka puppets. Then they tried to have the puppets do some GoNoodle activities moving like a human body.
Our school had a successful food drive! We received a total of 1,490 donations. 3rd grade brought in the most donations. Thank you to everyone who donated! We love being able to give back to our community!
