Mrs. Dimmick's third grade class won the award for having the most Big Umbrella recognitions given for the month of December. They enjoyed playing games with Mrs. Brown as a big "thank you" for being kind, showing respect and working hard. Congratulations third graders!
"I've been the secretary at Spanish Oaks Elementary since it opened in 2001. I worked the summer before it opened to help set up the school. I've seen a lot of changes in the last 19 years. I've also worked at Spanish Fork Intermediate and Payson Jr.
Susan Phelps was awarded our Crystal Apple Award for 2019-20. She shared the following information about herself so we can get to know her better. "This is my sixteenth year on staff here at Spanish Oaks Elementary. I love the administration, co-workers, and families here at Spanish Oaks and consider myself lucky to be at this school where I know that the education and well-being of each child is first priority. Larsen Elementary School
We were so excited to welcome Ms. Mary Ann from Nebo Credit Union. The credit union donated a new dictionary to every 3rd grader at the school.
Mrs. Swain is an ACC Technician at Spanish Oaks. Her favorite subject is Art because it lets you express yourself and the way you see the world. Her favorite hobby is Zumba, she loves it because she loves music and it's a great exercise. She loves teaching because you have the potential to help kids develop and learn. If she wasn’t an ACC Technician she would be a dancer because it’s a good way to show every emotion.

Mrs. Baldwin is our new ACC Teacher at Spanish Oaks Elementary. We are so happy she is here. She grew up in Holland, a beautiful part of the Netherlands. She attended three colleges, but mostly BYU. Her favorite part about teaching is the children. It doesn't matter what their differences are, she loves the children all the same. Her favorite school subject is reading, especially with children. If she wasn't a teacher she would be a Mom because of her love for children.
